Cross-bloggination: Becoming a Church of the Cross

I was recently asked by the folks at the Fund for Theological Education to write a post about my experience at House for All Sinners and Saints, especially as it related to leadership and discernment of vocations within congregations. The post was published today on their website, which can be found here. Thanks to FTE for the amazing grant they recently gave to the HFASS community!

  1. Wow man, I love that you got to put this out there! I remember saying something like, "“In the post-“church growth” era, to be a new kind of church, one must forego programs and the promise of what we don’t have, in favor of what is already present." Granted, my version wasn't so well put and I got looked at like i just compared the church offering to TP. People want something real. Keep up the cool &%#$ bro.
